Seems to reviews on this netbook runs hot and cold. I got mine last week and I had no problems, even after the removal of bloatware and other software needed. I removed Works and installed Office Pro and manage relational databases end!
Upgrade 2GB of RAM is almost mandatory for this netbook particularly when streaming media files. Runs hot and the charger connector is fragile … using the AC to charge only recommended as moving around the AC plug can weaken IMO. As many have already said, the fingerprints show, but I can live with it and if I keep the lid clean, I can tell when someone was browsing around!

I have discussed for months to get a netbook. Now I can not believe I waited so long!

This Eee PC is a very useful gadget for the money. It is out of the box, installed and running and connected to the Internet (via Wi-Fi) in about 5-10 minutes. I only intend to use it for navigation light, and therefore good for the show. The portability is wonderful. It 'so nice to the computer I want to work inside the house. And, traveling for AWESOME.

He had never heard of the Asus Eee until a few days before I actually bought the 1005HA.
The 10.5 hours of battery caught my attention. The battery works for at least 7 hours for me and is more than I expected.
The netbook does its job. The screen is feasible and that the keyboard is good. Not the fastest notebook, but the speeds are tolerable.
Besides the battery life because it marks the most is the small / thin and light design makes it very portable.
Reimbursement - is stamped friendly and I ended up deleting all the time!
